They are the men of Hunger Games who saw Katniss as a person that should be loved. They fell in love to a person who will do everything to save the people she cared about. They both witnessed and experienced how it is like to nearly lose the one who makes them happy amidst chaos. They both felt compelled to protect this person who did nothing but protect others. They love in a way they know.
